Optimist India accepts a limited amount of advertising and sponsored content to fund independent journalism. This policy keeps that funding clearly separated from our reporting.
Labelling. Any material that is paid for or produced in partnership with a sponsor is clearly labelled as “Sponsored” or “Partner Content” at the top of the page. It is visually distinct from editorial and is never presented as independent coverage.
Editorial firewall. Sponsors do not influence, review or direct our journalism. Our editors decide what we cover and how, independent of any commercial relationship.
Standards still apply. Sponsored content must be truthful and is subject to the same accuracy standards as editorial. We decline sponsorships that conflict with our values or mislead readers.
